Racist Sharpton admonished the media coverage of Michael Jackson
Rely on the Rev. Al Sharpton not to damage the bloviating service Michael Jackson Memorial was held in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. It is not the first time the Reverend used search irreverent media did something of this nature. And while the judge himself the spokesman for all black America and Black America while allowed to perpetuate this false image of the rest of us, it will not last.
In overestimated sermon / lecture during a Sunday service in Los Angeles who led the memorial ceremony on Tuesday, Al unequivocal terms that Michael proposed Jackson was the victim of racial injustice in his life and now perhaps more in his death. Even at the memorial service had a tinge of disappointment in the comments Sharpton
Sunday sermon from the pulpit of the First African Methodist Episcopal Church in Los Angeles, Sharpton complained about media coverage of the death of Michael Jackson.
"I am here because of the shame and despicable elements of the media have tried to destroy the legacy and image Michael Jackson, which ensures that the congregation, the media have taken different rules for celebrities in black and white.
"You have been other artists who have had problems in their lives, "he said." But you do not degrade and denigrate ... Show the same respect for Michael and Michael's family that showed Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.
(Note to the Reverend Al: There are plenty of books in your local library detailing the many shortcomings of these two artists.)
Hogwash, Reverend! You of all people rightly know that the media treatment of Jackson's death with gloves, especially ignoring the lifestyle of ultra-rare cosmetic surgery to change schedules and multiple allegations of child sexual abuse, while countless hours in the air of homage and adoration attention to its legacy pop. So much so that it became almost sickly and grossly exaggerated. The statements of people like Barry Gordy and Michael Jackson was "the greatest artist the world has acquaintance "and" will never be anyone like him! "are ridiculous to the extreme and therefore unnecessary to be comical in nature.
Jackson was a great showman and will have its place in American pop culture with confidence. It has sold millions of records, is a worldwide phenomenon in his time - which for a long time ahead of his death - and legions of admirers - and forgive - fans. This does not deserve the status of "world best of all time" anything, even taking into account the emotional nature of his untimely death and the tendency of some to make statements of emotional support is not well designed at a time when a little worried.
Michael Jackson has been a successful American who lived the glamorous life style to the nth degree, earned hundreds of millions of dollars of wealth, and been a model for other aspiring artists who want to succeed in the fickle world of music. He entertained us and some love the music and dance. His life has been tragic moments. It was fatal to the end and the fate of us all. That and nothing else.
Sharpton would use this tragic event as a bird of prey as the attention getter media, and as another self-promotion in the service of its own agenda is disgusting best and repugnant at the base. The offended millions of Americans loved and supported Michael Jackson during his life and the sadness of his death, especially white Americans, whose support in the purchase of the records would not have been Jackson phenomenon first.
But make no mistake about it - where media criticism for its lack of sensitivity and a lack of understanding of culture black, no other hidden charges Sharpton racist at all of white America. "I do not think the media understand that Michael was'' Sharpton was quoted in wire reports. `` I do not think (read "Whitey") have a cultural meaning.''As if Sharpton is the only Jackson, who really understands pop culture in black while the rest of us are insensitive and racist whites.
Sharpton has long been a supplier policy of "victimization" and said that approach throughout his rise to power. Back in the day of the race-based harassment when preacherhood Harlem made a fool of himself during these antics off the wall "in the" Tawanna Brawley incident, Sharpton made his livelihood selling racism as obstacles people black "in white America. He thrived in this approach often alienates white America.
At one time a preacher of fire, is now a caricature of himself drawn covering where and when he sees that meeting with the media to promote any other problem that Al Sharpton. How can we be surprised that appear at this time of mega media exposure reports over the death of a pop legend in his hand in a course of care, controversy, and the glory in honor of Michael Jackson?
What a shame, the Rev. Al Sharpton! Shame on your selfish ways and his insatiable quest for attention Media diverted at a time like this. I'm sad about what you've become.
Michael Jackson deserved better.
