Released May 5, 2009, Plants vs Zombies puts players in the shoes of Crazy Dave and his neighbor in the role of defending home of a relentless attack of the zombie attacks. Zombies attack the front garden, patio, pool, and even the roof of the home player does not stop, day-night. The only way to defeat the massive treasure is by planting a variety of offensive and defensive plants and fungi around the house to help repel these evil creatures of the night.
Hilarious equipped weapons such as mines potatoes, blowguns, Hypno-mushrooms, cauliflower and Pulte provide defense capabilities and attack you and Dave need to avoid Loco the district has its brain eaten by zombies people.
As a tower defense game, Zombies vs plants divides the park into a series of tracks with the zombies to go home. Use seed packets for planting of plants necessary for the delivery of their attack and defense. These packages of seeds or plants need sunlight to generate sunlight or natural sunlight available during the day. Defense evening is usually carried by fungi that require less light (eg, fungi).
These packages random seed are designed to make the reader to determine how to get the most out of them to survive. The game offers several one-shot "power" moves like a lawn mower or pool cleaner completely erase all the zombies who are too close to home. This function is used once per level. Some levels of giving the player a random initial package that requires no sunlight at all.
Just as there are a number of weapons to choose from, there are many types of zombies you'll encounter in the game, which differ in speed, skill and the amount of damage they can sustain. Some armor zombie bear, while others will be able to jump and fly.
In an earlier version, there was a zombie that inspired Michael Jackson's famous Thriller music video. This "MJ zombie" was able to call other zombies from the ground. Unfortunately, due to pressure from the legacy of Michael Jackson, this property has been recently removed from the game.
Main game mode is an adventure mode where the player fights with wave after wave of zombies. In each zombie attack at random intervals, with a special section in which a massive wave zombie attack the player en masse. The player is warned about the attack murderer with a counter that indicates the approximate time zombie attack will occur.
Plants vs. Zombies is available on multiple platforms, including Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. There is even a web version can be played directly from your browser. A version for iPhone / iPod platform (now known as IOS) was published in February 2010. The Xbox Live Arcade is scheduled for September 2010.
